Jennifer Lee Browning, age 39 of 10658 Worleytown Rd. Greencastle, PA died at 3:00 P.M. Monday, January 9, 2012 in Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.
Born June 5 1972 in Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, PA. She Was the wife of Gary Lee Browning, and the daughter of Robert F. and Nancy M. (Greene) Stackhouse of Tunkhannock, PA.
She was employed at Citigroup of Hagerstown. Jennifer was a member of the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church of Greencastle. Jennifer volunteered with numerous charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, March of Dimes, Meals on Wheels and the Soup Kitchen. Jennifer was a graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School and was a magna cum laude graduate of Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, PA. She was a loving mother to her two sons. She enjoyed doing cross stitching and puzzles.
Surviving family in addition to her parents and husband are two sons Robert "Bobby" Browning and Chase Browning, both at home, one brother Robert Stackhouse, and wife Elizabeth Mehoopany, Pa, paternal grandmother Ann Stackhouse, Carbondale, PA, two nephews, Brian and Kyle, and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by two infant brothers Brian and Michael Stackhouse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 14 at 11:00 A.M. from the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church 385 S. Ridge Ave. Greencastle with Father Joe Stahura celebrant. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle where a wake service will be held at 7:45 P.M.. In lieu of flowers you may contribute to the Browning children''s college fund c/o Gary Browning, 10658 Worleytown Rd.
