Jenevieve W. (Zeger) Musselman, age 84 of 8313 Talhelm Rd. Chambersburg, PA. passed away peacefully at 6:57 A.M. Sunday April 10, 2011 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born September 21, 1926 in Antrim Twp. Franklin County, PA., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Lottie C. (Hager) Zeger.
A lifelong resident of Antrim Township, Jenny was a 1945 graduate of Greencastle High School. Prior to her marriage on May 15, 1949 to Lester A. Musselman, she was employed by the PA. Dept. of Public Assistance in Chambersburg. She and her husband of nearly 62 years operated a dairy farm for 39 years in Milnor, prior to moving to their present residence.
Jenny was a member for 79 years of the Ebenezer "Guitners" United Brethren Church where she served as a Bible School Teacher and was Senior Sunday School Class President for 15 years. She was active in PFA Green Acres Advisory Council and the Franklin County Society of Farm Women Group #14. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers and her family.
Surviving family in addition to her husband are two sons, Thomas and wife Valerie Musselman, Plymouth, MI., Terry Musselman, Greencastle, two daughters, Anna Lee and husband David Kopp, Greencastle, Nancy Linn, Gettysburg, PA., four grandsons, two granddaughters and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother E. Jerry Zeger, three sisters Evelyn F. Stouffer, Hilda C. Crider and Thelma G. Pisle.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 14 at 11:00 A.M. from the Ebenezer "Guitners" United Brethren Church 3661 Williamson Rd. Greencastle with Pastors David Grove and Richard Mose officiating. Burial will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle and at the church one hour before the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Ebenezer United Brethren Church 3661 Williamson Rd.
