Jeannine Walls

Jeannine Marie Walls, age 82 of 10311 Letzburg Rd. Greencastle, Pa. died unexpectedly Friday November 13, 2009 in her home.

Born October 2, 1927 in France, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Colombes) Roman.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mark''s The Evangelist Catholic Church of Greencastle.

She and her husband, Denis P. Walls were married April 19, 1947.He died on May 3, 1998.

She enjoyed crocheting and in her earlier was a Girl Scout leader.

Surviving family are two sons, John F. Walls, Carlisle, Pa., William J. Walls, Arlington Va., three daughters, Jeannine C. Bender, Newburg, Pa., Kathleen E. Seibert, Kingston Massachusetts, Eileen A. Reitz, Whitehall, Pa., a brother Marcel and a sister Elizabeth of France. and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Denise Walls Blake in 1974.

A Christian Wake Service will be held on Friday November 20 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Joseph L. Stahura officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. There will be no public viewing but the family will receive friends one hour before the service on Friday.
