Mr. Jason Eric Barnes, 54, of Chambersburg, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, at his residence. He was the husband of Mrs. Barbara Ellen Daley Barnes
Born March 14, 1959, in Waynesboro, he was a son of Catherine Hoffman Barnes of Greencastle, and the late Olen Richard Barnes. Jason graduated Greencastle-Antrim High School; and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was currently employed with Volvo Construction Equipment, Shippensburg.
Besides his wife and mother, Jason is survived by sons, Jason E. Barnes, II, of Colorado, Troy E. Sease of Greencastle, and Jason C. Sease of Waynesboro; grandsons, Elijah E. and Tyler T. Sease, both of Greencastle; his siblings Cynthia Paris and Anthony Barnes, both of Hot Springs, North Carolina, Sue Easterday of Hagerstown, John Barnes of Greencastle, and Becky Nunemaker of Scotland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, is handling the arrangements. There will not be visiting at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 24, 2014, 1:00 PM, at Macedonia United Brethren In Christ Church, 11887 Worleytown Road, Greencastle.
