Janice (Kozain) Fries

Janice (Kozain) Fries, age 62,  of Greencastle, PA died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in her home.

Born September 18, 1958 in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of Howard and Sophia (Holodnik) Kozain of Greencastle.

Janice was formerly employed at the Chambersburg Hospital as a Medical Lab Technician. She had previously worked at Grove Worldwide of Shady Grove and as a hostess at  Nick’s Airport  Inn in Hagerstown. She was a 1976 graduate of Greencastle- Antrim  High School, graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore MD and received her medical technician degree from Wilson College of Chambersburg.

Janice also operated Sweet Annie’s Flowers of Greencastle. She was an artist, loved flowers and going to flower shows all over.

Surviving family in addition to her parents are one son Jason Fries of Franklin County, PA, twin daughters,  André Fries of Chambersburg, Alycia Fries of Greencastle; two brothers Alan Kozain of Greencastle and Bryan Kozain and wife Cathy of Quincy,  PA.

A private graveside service will be held at the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle with Pastor Brian Black officiating. There will be no viewing. Online condolences may be given at www.zimmermanfh.com.. Arrangements were made by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
