Janice L. (Loughner) Devlin

Janice “Jan” L. Devlin, age 72 of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Well Span York Hospital. Born April 13, 1950, in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of Dorothy Brougher Loughner and the late Kenneth Loughner.

Mrs. Devlin had earned her associates degree at Cambria Rowe Business College. She went on to work for Mercersburg Academy for 29 years as the Assistant to the Athletic Director. Mrs. Devlin was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Greencastle, PA. Jan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, feeding birds, gardening, and doing her own nails.

In addition to her mother she is survived by, her husband of 50 years, Harry Ronald “Ron” Devlin, whom she married on September 18, 1971, two daughters, Kimberly Devlin of Rhode Island, Kathleen Devlin of Greencastle, PA; four grandchildren, Gabriel Schorner, Tane Schorner, Madelyn Nunemaker, and Dayton White; one sister Cindy Hause of New Florence, PA; brother-in –law and sister- in-law Dave and Susan Devlin of Cramer, PA.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 6 at 12 PM at the Marion Fire Hall, 5465 Molly Pitcher Highway, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.
