Mrs. Janet Irene Foreman Miller, 80, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, May 17, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Paul D. Miller, who preceded her in death on November 3, 2008.
Born February 27, 1932, in Greencastle, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Alma G. Bear Foreman.
Mrs. Miller graduated St. Thomas High School second in her class; and was formerly employed with Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg. Earlier she was an orchardist in Edenville and worked for the Stanley Company, Chambersburg.
She was a member of Forth Street Church of the Brethren, Chambersburg.
Surviving are her four step-children; several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren; and step-great, great grandchildren; as well as her siblings, Alice M. Snider and Kathryn Louise Group, both of Chambersburg, and Anna Grace Tarner and Robert Foreman, both of Fort Loudon; and several nieces and nephews, including her niece Lana K. Bricker and husband Larry of Chambersburg.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two step-children; and brother Lloyd Foreman.
The Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, is handling the arrangements. There will not be visiting at the funeral home. Services and inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
