Jacqueline H. (Heintzelman) Hunt, age 77 of West View Circle Greencastle, PA died at 6:30 PM Sunday, November 30, 2014 in her home following an extended illness.
Born September 30, 1937 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Sidney and Charlotte Elizabeth (Derk) Heintzelman. She married Barry C. Hunt on August 3, 1962 in Montandon, PA.
She had worked as an x-ray technician at the Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, PA. Jacqueline was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Greencastle.
She graduated in 1955 from Sunbury High School. In her younger years she served as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She enjoyed collecting Longaberger Baskets, Boyds Bears and seasonal decorating of her home.
Surviving family in addition to her husband are two sons Steve C. Hunt of Williamson, PA, Michael E. Hunt, at home, one brother David D. Heintzelman of Milton, PA, one sister Carol Moore of Sunbury, PA and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside funeral service held on Thursday December 4 at 1:00 PM from the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle with Pastor Stacy A. Crawford officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle.
