Ingrid A. (Schwenn) Collins

Ingrid A. Collins, age 85, of Greencastle, PA died Thursday evening March, 26, 2020 at Paramount Senior Living in Fayetteville, PA.

Born January 13, 1935 in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Gerhard and Martha Schwenn. She married her husband James Edward Collins, US Air Force Retired, on January 12, 1957. He died on November 28, 2008.

Ingrid retired from the FBI where she was an interpreter. In Germany, she had worked as a freight forwarding merchant.  She attended the Trinity Lutheran Church in Greencastle.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son David K. Collins on April 25, 2015 and by a sister Erika Kessler

Surviving family are a brother Arthur Dieter Schwenn of Germany and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle with Rev. Barbara Barry of Trinity Lutheran Church of Greencastle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contrbutions may be made to her church, Trinity Lutheran Church 1186 Jason Dr. Greencastle, PA 17225. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
