Ida B. Leininger

Ida B. (Walker) Leininger, age 85 of 265 North Carlisle St. - Lot 13 Greencastle, PA. died at 9:00 P.M. Sunday, March 13, 2011 in the Waynesboro Hospital.

Born April 14, 1925 in Cove Gap, PA., she was the daughter of the late George and Susan Belle Walker.

She retired from Landis Tool Co. of Waynesboro and served as a Vanda Beauty Counselor for a number of years.

Ida had attended the Calvary Bible Church of Greencastle. Her husband Kenneth L. Leininger died on January 20, 1993. Ida attended Greencastle High School and she enjoyed golfing, dancing and playing cards.

Surviving family are several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by brothers, Harry Walker, George Walker, Harmin Walker and sisters Edna Ensminger, Esther Rollins, Kathryn Chamberlin, Rebecca Walker, Beulah Orris and Anna Sine.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 18 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Pastor Richard Overcash officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Friday.
