Hilda I. Schaff, age 91, of 119 Kennedy St., Marion, PA died unexpectedly Sunday morning, June 24, 2007 in her home.
Born November 18, 1915 in Guilford Twp., Franklin County, PA she was the daughter of the late James S. and Catherine (Saum) Summers.
She and her husband, Charles P. Schaff were married May 30, 1936 in Chewsville, MD. He died on May 23, 2002.
In her earlier years she was employed by the former Stanley Company of Chambersburg and the former Waynesboro Knitting Mill.
Mrs. Schaff was a member of the Fetterhoff Chapel United Methodist Church of Chambersburg, PA. She enjoyed going to church, her church family, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving family are:
Three Daughters, Janet Goldsberry of York, PA, Mary Kauffman of Fayetteville, PA and Shirley Bitner of Marion, PA.
One Sister, Helen Gilbert of Ormond Beach, FL.

She was preceded in death by four sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA with Pastor Jennifer P. Snyder officiating. Burial will in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Fetterhoff Chapel United Methodist Church, 4025 Fetterhoff Chapel Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
