Helen K. (Keller) Cunningham

Helen K. Cunningham, age 97, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Chambers Pointe Nursing Center. Born November 25, 1925, in Welsh Run, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer J. and Margaret E. Palmer Keller.

A 1944 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, she went on to work in the home, caring for her family. Mrs. Cunningham was a volunteer for over twenty years at the Chambersburg Hospital, she enjoyed a lot of travel on the main land and the island of Maui. She was also a member of Salem United Brethren Church in Chambersburg, PA.

Surviving is her daughter, Virginia C. Stafford of Ocean View, DE, one grandson, J.J. Stafford III (wife Kristen J.), and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Sam Stafford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Cunningham in 2005, a son in law, Joseph Stafford, Jr. in 2012, and three siblings, Elmer Keller, Jr., Mason Keller, and Eleanor Keller Martin.

Services and private interment will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.
