Harold S. Bauman, age 90, a resident of the Shook Home of Chambersburg and formerly of Sunny Lane Chambersburg died Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the nursing home.
Born November 20, 1923 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Wilmer and Myrtle (Shelly) Bauman. He and his wife, Mary E. (Overpeck) Bauman were married May 26, 1946 in Souderton. She died on January 29, 2010.
In his earlier years, Harold was a farmer, delivered milk and bread and last worked as a manager of a Christian Book Store.
He was a member of the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church near Chambersburg and the Berean Sunday School Class. He enjoyed being with his loving family.

Surviving family are two daughters Diane C. Bowers of Mechanicsburg, PA, Lori A. Burkholder and husband Evan of Fayetteville, PA, two sons Donald R. Bauman of Pittsburgh, PA, Ronald R. Bauman and wife Joan of Manheim, PA, three sisters Edna Hillegas of Trumbauersville, PA, Ella Barndt and Mary Bittenbinder, both of Quakertown, PA, eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 3 at 11:00 AM from the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church 24 East Kauffman Rd. Chambersburg with Pastor Ky R. Searcy officiating. Burial will be in the Air Hill Brethren In Christ Church Cemetery Chambersburg. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the Shook Home Benevolent Care Fund 55 South Second St. Chambersburg, PA 17201 or the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church 24 East Kauffman Rd.
