H. Pauline (Lindsay) Swisher, age 80 of West Dahlgren St. Greencastle, PA died Tuesday morning August 18, 2015 in her home.
Born November 15, 1934 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Paul M. and Helen M. (Wetsel) Lindsay. She married C. Robert Swisher on July 30, 1955.
Pauline worked as a medical secretary for over 50 years at Orthopaedic Associates in Chambersburg retiring in 2012. She was a 1952 graduate of Greencastle High School and a graduate of the Maryland Medical Secretarial School.
Pauline was a member of the Macedonia United Brethren Church near Greencastle. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ.
Surviving family in addition to her husband of 60 years are one daughter Karen L. Starr of Greencastle, one granddaughter, Melissa A. Lane and husband Mark Jr. of Hustontown, PA, one great-granddaughter McKenzie S. Lane of Hustontown, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Harold E. Lindsay in 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 22 at 2:30 PM from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Milton Herrold Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Macedonia United Brethren Church Cemetery Greencastle. There will be no public viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Macedonia United Brethren Church 11887 Worleytown Road Greencastle, PA 17225.
