Glenn L. Kuhn

Glenn L. Kuhn, age 91 of Lincoln Way East Fayetteville, PA died Tuesday afternoon January 31, 2017 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Lloyd Beam of Kauffman Station.

Born July 30, 1925 in Kauffman, Station, PA, he was the son of the late George L. and Lela M. (Cassner) Kuhn.  He married his wife Barbara A. (Swope) Sellers on March 16, 1999.

Glenn was self-employed, having owned Big A Advertising for many years and in his younger years worked at the former Wayne Finance Co. in Waynesboro. He graduated in 1943 from Greencastle High School and was a US Army veteran of World War II having served in the Battle of the Bulge of the Central European Theatre.

Glenn attended the St Paul’s Lutheran Church of Fayetteville. He was a member of the Harry D. Zeigler V.F.W. Post #6319 of Greencastle, life member of the Fayetteville Fire Co. and Rescue Hose Co. #1 of Greencastle. He also was a charter member of the Kauffman Ruritan Club, member of the Falcon Car Club of America and the Antique Automobile Club of America.

Glenn enjoyed collecting numerous Falcon automobiles over the years, square dancing and golfing.

Surviving family in addition to his wife are one son Mark Kuhn and wife Susan of State Line, one daughter, Barbara Beam and husband Lloyd of Kauffman Station, two stepchildren, Scott Sellers and wife Sue Ann of Chambersburg, Michelle Gervasio and husband Steve of Chambersburg, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Paul Kuhn.

Funeral services will be held on Monday February 6 at 11:00 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Craig Harris officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the Chambersburg V.F.W.  Post #1599 Honor Guard will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman Station. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday one hour before the service.
