Gladys V. (Lindsay) Keller Hobbs, age 66 of 65 Pecher Road Fairfield, PA. and formerly of Greencastle, PA. died unexpectedly at 5:20 P.M. Friday, April 22, 2011 in the Gettysburg Hospital.

Born July 30, 1944 in Antrim Twp. Franklin County, PA., she was the daughter of the late Wilbur E. and Pearl V. (Witmer) Lindsay.
She had worked at the former Antrim House Restaurant in Hagerstown and at the Franklin County Office of Aging.

She had been a member of the Coseytown Homemakers and had attended the Otterbein United Brethren Church of Greencastle in her earlier years.
She enjoyed writing poetry, crocheting and water color painting. Gladys was a 1962 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. The last few years she and her husband have enjoyed ball room dancing and square dancing.


Surviving family are her husband Karl F. Hobbs, whom she married December 3, 2004, one son Andrew C. and wife Stacie Keller, Waterfall, PA., daughter-in-law, Elisabeth M. Keller, Greencastle, brothers Wilbur Lindsay Jr. and Frederick E. Lindsay, both of Greencastle, sisters, Martha M. Fox, Greencastle, Beverly Jane Piper, Chambersburg, Susan Alice Wray, Florida, three grandchildren, nieces and nephews, five step-children, Monica Satazahn, Red Lion, PA., Duane Hobbs, McSherrystown, PA., Rebecca Sanders, Lake Meade, PA., Christopher Hobbs, Hagerstown, Karla Wolfe, Arendtsville, PA. and three step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey D. Keller in 2009 and her former husband Mason P. Keller in 2001.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 27 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. David G. Rawley officiating. Burial will be in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to Building Fund of Otterbein United Brethren Church 146 Leitersburg St. Greencastle, PA. 17225
