Mrs. Gladys B. Shoup Dentler, 89, formerly of Greencastle, died Sunday afternoon, December 30, 2012, at Falling Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg. She was the wife of the late Seth L. Dentler who preceded her in death in 2001.
Born April 1, 1923, in Shady Grove, she was a daughter of the late Edward M. and Minnie Neady Shoup.
In earlier years she worked at Waynesboro Knitting Mill; but more recently in the Greencastle-Antrim High School Cafeteria.
Surviving is her grandson, Jeffrey A. Youngblood and wife Annette of Greencastle; her son-in-law Larry I. Little of Waynesboro; and two nieces and a nephew.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Jane Youngblood Little in 2008; and her brother Charles E. Shoup.
The Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, is handling the arrangements. There will not be visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be on Friday, January 4, at 1:30 PM, at Parklawns Memorial Park, Chambersburg. Rev. Brian H. Triller will officiate.
