Gene Paul Jewell, age 76 of 209 Williamson Ave. Greencastle, Pa. died early Monday morning November 12, 2007 in his home.
Born December 19, 1931 in Cumberland, Md. he was the son of the late Lester and Alice (Hendrickson) Jewell.
He retired from Fairchild Aircraft Co. Mr. Jewell attended the Paramount Baptist Church of Hagerstown, Md. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving family are his longtime companion Janice M. Nolan, a resident of the Quincy Home.
Two sons, Steven Jewell and Dean Jewell, both of England
Sister - Connie Weaver of Cumberland, Md.
Brother - Glenn Jewell, Jacksonville, Florida
Step-brother - Wayne Jewell, Carlisle, Pa.
Sister-In-Law, Charlotte Jewell, Cumberland, Md.
A number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ronald D. Jewell.
It was his request that there would be no funeral services. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, Franklin-Fulton Unit, 384 Floral Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M.
