Gail B. (Hawbaker) Starliper, age 42 of Greencastle, PA, passed away at 4:10 P.M. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the home of her parents in Greencastle.
Born, February 14, 1969 in Waynesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Seth W. Hawbaker and Isobel (McLeod) Zach of Greencastle, PA and the step-daughter of Larry D. Zach of Greencastle.
She and her husband, Timothy W. Starliper were married on August 12, 1995 in Chambersburg.
Gail was a member of the Marion First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, especially her daughter, Skylar.
She was currently employed as a Billing Specialist for Carlisle Internal Medicine. She was a 1987 graduate of the Greencastle-Antrim High School.
Surviving family in addition to her husband, mother and step-father are a daughter, Skylar Starliper at home; sister, Terri J. Elyard and husband Daniel of Greencastle; brother, Scott W. Hawbaker and fiancee Tammy Wasilius of Greencastle; nephew, Connor Elyard and niece, Jaidyn Elyard. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Kaylee A. Starliper and Olivia F. Starliper.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. from the Marion First United Methodist Church, 94 Colorado St., Marion, PA with Rev. Chris Renner officiating. Burial will follow in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory for her daughter, Skylar Starliper (include her name on the check), c/o Orrstown Bank, 121 Lurgan Ave., Shippensburg, PA 17257; Marion First United Methodist Church, P.O.
