Frances Helen Diller

Frances Helen Diller, age 86, of Greencastle, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Heritage Hills Retirement Home. Born February 22, 1938, in Marion, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Norman H. and Elizabeth Eshleman Martin.

Mrs. Diller was a 1956 graduate of the Greencastle-Antrim Senior High School. She married her husband, John H. Diller on January 15, 1958. She was a homemaker most of her adult years, caring for and providing for her family. Mrs. Diller was a member of Calvary Mennonite Church, Chambersburg, PA. 

Surviving are six children, Dale J. Diller (wife Sonja) of Fayetteville, PA, John E. Diller (wife Donna) of Chambersburg, PA, Jay E. Diller (wife Linda) of Greencastle, PA, Jeanette R. Strite (husband Roger) of Lititz, PA, Alta L. Martin (husband Neil) of Winchester, VA, and Darvin L. Diller (wife Jecilie) of Hagerstown, MD; son-in-law, Lester Eshleman of Edinburg, VA; 32 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-granddaughters; and two siblings, Lorraine Eby of Chambersburg, PA and Lester Martin of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Diller in 1995; daughter, Lois Eshleman in 2018; two granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and a brother, N. Harold Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10 AM at Calvary Mennonite Church, 559 Overcash Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17202, where the Calvary Ministry will officiate. The family will receive friends for viewing on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service at the above church and address. Interment will follow the service in Miller’s Mennonite Church Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.
