Faye C. Wingert

Faye C. Wingert, age 68 of 157 North Allison St. Apt. B Greencastle, Pa. died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning December 15, 2009 in her home.

Born June 25, 1941 in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Abram B. and Irene M. (Hawke) Wingert.

She was employed at Sunnyway Foods in Greencastle in the bakery and last worked at Cedar Ridge Childrens Home in Williamsport, Md.

Faye was a member of the Five Forks Brethren In Christ Church near Waynesboro. She was a 1959 graduate of Greencastle High School. She enjoyed sending letters and cards as an act of encouragement for people.

Surviving family are two sisters, Phyllis M. (Wife of David) Stahl and E. Jean (Wife of. Glenn) Alleman, both of Chambersburg, one brother Dale M. (Husband of Glenda) Wingert, St. Thomas, Pa. and number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Snider.

Funeral services will be held on Friday December 18 at 2:00 P.M. from the Five Forks Brethren In Christ Church 9244 Five forks Rd. Waynesboro with Pastor Ray Kipe officiating. Burial will be in the New Guilford Brethren In Christ Church Cemetery near Chambersburg. The family will receive friends today from 6 - 8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle and at the church one hour before the service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Five Forks Brethren In Christ Church 9244 Five Forks Rd.
