Esther L. Wetsel

Esther L. Wetsel, age 95 a resident of Menno Haven in Chambersburg and formerly of State Line, PA. died at 2:00 A.M. Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the nursing center.

Born October 3, 1915 in Antrim Twp. Franklin County, PA., she was the daughter of the late John H. and Anna Florence (Binkley) Wetsel.

She had worked at the former ASBA Garment Co. in Greencastle and was last employed at Ross Garment Co. in Hagerstown.
Esther was a life long and oldest member of the Macedonia United Brethren Church near Greencastle.

She enjoyed being with her family. She is survived by two sisters Elva Myers, a resident of Menno Haven, Chambersburg, Ruth Baumbaugh, Menno Village, Chambersburg, two nieces and two nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters Opal Egolf, Viola Myers and Helen Lindsay.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 9 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle with Rev. Gayle Ruble Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 - 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanfh.com
