Elva M. Horst, age 92, a resident of the Mennonite Home, Hagerstown, MD died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 9:55 A.M. in the home.
Born May 28, 1914 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Abram G. and Susie (Baer) Horst.
She was a member of the Millers Mennonite Church, Leitersburg, MD. She did housework for various families throughout her life time.
Surviving family are:
One Sister, Mabel I. Horst of Hagerstown, MD.
Twelve Nieces and Seven Nephews
Many Great & Great Great Nieces & Nephews
She was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Horst, three brothers, Adin Horst, Irvin Horst, and Lesher Horst, and two nephews, Earl Horst and Roy Horst.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Millers Mennonite Church, near Leitersburg, MD with the Millers Mennonite Church Ministry officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the services on Saturday. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
