Elizabeth B. Martin Oberholzer, age 92 a resident of Menno Haven in Chambersburg, PA. died at 5:15 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in the Menno Haven nursing center.

Born October 16, 1918 in Washington County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Leroy S. and Ida (Ebersole) Martin.

She had worked as a cook at the Cedar Ridge Children''s Home of Williamsport, MD. and Cove Valley Camp near Mercersburg.

Elizabeth was an active member of the Salem Ridge Mennonite Church near Greencastle. Her first husband Eston D. Martin died in 1978 and her second husband Clifford C. Oberholzer died in 2005.

Surviving family are a son Benjamin L. and wife Janet Martin, Mercersburg, two daughters Mary L. Martin, Greencastle, Shirley (Routzahn) and husband Clair Hege, Stockbridge, GA., two step-sons, Kenneth E. Oberholzer, Chambersburg, Richard D. Oberholzer, Greencastle, step-daughter-in-law, Doris Oberholzer, State Line, five sisters, three brothers, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and eleven step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Delmar Martin, a step-son Robert L. Oberholzer and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 26 at 11:00 A.M. from the Salem Ridge Mennonite Church 411 Pensinger Rd. Greencastle with Revs. Galen Lehman and Roger Martin officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening from 6 - 9 P.M. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Cumberland Valley Relief Center 4225 Molly Pitcher Hwy. Chambersburg, Pa. 17202.
