Dorothy Mae Hausenfluck, age 85 of 1510 Farm Lane Greencastle, PA. died at 2:05 P.M. Sunday, August 15, 2010 in the Waynesboro Hospital.

Born May 17, 1925 in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Nonnie and Lena (Elliott) Morgan.

Dorothy was a homemaker and in her earlier years she worked at the National Orthopeditic Hospital. She was a member of the Greencastle Church Of The Brethren where she served as a deaconess, taught Sunday School and was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class. Dorothy had been involved in the Greencastle- Antrim Womens Fellowship and attended the Greencastle Senior Center. She enjoyed reading, poetry, crocheting, sewing and had made many lap blankets.

She and her husband, Calvin H. Hausenfluck were married July 4, 1952.

Surviving family in addition to her husband of 58 years are two sons, Kent T. Mitchell, Bowie, MD., Michael A. Mitchell, Broad Run, VA., three grandchildren, Mary Ann Mogavero, Amanda Mae Mitchell, Michael A. Mitchell , three great-grandchildren, one sister, Betty J. Rolen, Colesville, MD. and one brother Roland Morgan, Dunn NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph W. Mitchell and one brother Ronald Morgan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. from the Greencastle Church of the Brethren, 36 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle with Rev. Leon Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Building Fund of Greencastle Church of the Brethren, 36 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, Pa. 17225.
