In Honor of the Life of Doris and Maynard Statler:
Doris Elaine Statler
May 19, 1929 - August 2, 2019
Sewing Factory Seamstress, Switchboard Operator, The BEST homemaker in the world, LPN Nurse - despite having to overcome breast cancer while attending school and graduating at the top of her class. A true role model to her daughters. Loved to have fun, cook, crochet, sew, go shopping, and throw a party. Being surrounded by her husband and family was always at the top of her list. The true “Heart” that kept her family’s foundation together with her faith, strong will, compassion and generosity. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Maynard Eugene Statler
November 26, 1929 - June 4, 2020
United States Air Force Air Traffic Controller, Federal Government Air Traffic Controller and Supervisor. After retirement he took pride and joy in becoming a Township Supervisor.
With his high-stress jobs he found that his love of nature and animals were a great source of relaxation. A loving father, grandfather, a great-grandfather who could always be counted on for his quick wit and a joke.
A pillar of strength, guidance, and a FOREVER smile. A true hero to his family, a kind soul with the wisdom to lead by example and perception for those who sought his advice. A man who always put his family first. This man was and always will be our Sunshine!
A thank you from their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: We were genuinely blessed when God gave us these two wonderful parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.
This loving couple with their amazing love for each other and their family have taught us unconditional love along with traditions that will last throughout time. Thank you, we will always Honor and Love you.
May you rest in Heaven together with Eternal Peace and Love.
