Ms. Donna Mae Dudenhoeffer Gahan, 67, of Greencastle, died Friday evening, August 3, 2012, at her residence.
Born June 25, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Jacob J. and Nelda Voss Dudenhoeffer.
Donna worked at Brook Lane, Hagerstown, for nearly 20 years.
She was an active member of St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Greencastle.
Surviving are her sons, Jeff Gahan and wife Carole of St. Thomas, and Jason Gahan and wife Melinda of Waynesboro; six grandchildren; brothers, Ronald and wife Diane, and Dennis Dudenhoeffer and wife Mary, all of St. Louis; her sister-in-law Kathy Dudenhoeffer of Indianapolis, Indiana; as well as her former spouse John M. Gahan of Falling Waters, West Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Dudenhoeffer.
The family will receive friends at Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, 45 South Carlisle Street, Greencastle, on Tuesday, August 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 8, 10:00 AM, from her church, St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 385 South Ridge Avenue, Greencastle. Her pastor, The Rev. Joseph L. Stahura, will celebrate the mass. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
