Donald L. Kline, age 73 of Greencastle, PA died unexpectedly on Wednesday morning November 5, 2014 in his home.
Born June 16, 1941 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel E. Jr. and Margaret G. (Adams) Kline.
Don owned and operated Kline’s Bookkeeping and Tax Service on South Carlisle St. Greencastle for a number of years and last operated Don Kline’s Used Books and Collectables on East Baltimore St. in Greencastle. In his younger years he worked at the former Acme Markets.
He was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints Chambersburg Second Ward. Don graduated in 1959 from Greencastle High School and furthered his education at Waynesboro Business College, Ricks College in Idaho and also at Brigham Young University in Utah.
Don was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, enjoyed reading and traveling. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War.
Surviving family are one sister Patricia A. Esquer and husband Eugene of Greencastle, two aunts Shirley Aul and Helen Adams, both of Greencastle, number cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Charles W. Kline.
Funeral services will be held on Monday November 10 at 11:00 AM from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Matthew Hurley, Stake President officiating. Burial will be in the Antietam (formerly Prices) Cemetery in Waynesboro. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5 – 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter -Day Saints Chambersburg Second Ward, 50 Ragged Edge Rd. Chambersburg, PA 17202.
