Debra Kay (Bingaman) Carbaugh

Debra K. Carbaugh, age 64, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center. Born July 9, 1958, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Thelma Grace Burcker Bingaman.

Mrs. Carbaugh worked as an LPN and Personal Care Administrator at The Shook Home in Chambersburg for 10 years, retiring in 2015.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Richard A. Carbaugh, whom she married on March 15, 1975, three daughters, Dana Brechbiel (husband Jay) of Greencastle, PA, Bobbi Kimple (husband Jeff) of Waynesboro, PA, and Tracy Carbaugh-Hinds (wife Lori) of Frederick, MD; seven grandchildren, Ainsley (fiancé Brady), Bryce, Collin, Chase, Kyla, Jared, and Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Braylen and Adelyn; six siblings, Barb Miller (Dave), Gary Bingaman (Vickii), Denny Bingaman (Lois), Kenny Bingaman (Crystal), Richard Bingaman, and Tracy Motter (Mike); and  numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 1 PM in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA, where Pastor Eric Cox will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5 from 6 – 8 PM and on Thursday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Grindstone Hill Cemetery.
