Debbie L. (Haines) Marville, age 61 of Greencastle, PA, went home to be with the Lord at 11:34 P.M. on Sunday, December 13, 2009. She died at the Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.


Born March 17, 1948 in Indian Springs, MD, she was the daughter of the late Leonard French Haines and Mary Irene (Miller) Haines Wissinger.

She and her husband, Wayne Roger Marville were married June 2, 1974. He died on December 8, 2006.

She was currently employed as a nurse''s assistant at the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, MD and formerly worked as a dental assistant in Hagerstown.

Mrs. Marville was a member of the Greencastle Baptist Church, Greencastle, PA.

Debbie spent her early life on her family farm and later went on to be a dental assistant where she met her husband Wayne. They spent many years boating on the eastern shore of MD. Wayne, being a pilot, taught her how to fly and she eventually soloed. However, the thing she enjoyed most in life was being a mom and taking care of her family.

Debbie Marville lived an unselfish life. She was always ready to help and care for a family member or friend. For those of us who were fortunate enough to know her, our lives will be forever changed.

Surviving family are, daughter, Ashlee M. Marville of Chambersburg, PA; son, Shane R. Marville of Greencastle, PA; step father, Wilbur Wissinger of Big Pool, MD; brother, Neil Haines, sister, Mary Young both of Hagerstown, MD and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Dyke and Carol Mills.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 20th at 2:00 P.M. at the Greencastle Baptist Church, 2377 Buchanan Trail West, Greencastle, PA with Rev. Ray Kipe officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Easton, MD on Monday at 1:00 P.M. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA. 22312. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M.
