David “Buzzy” Brown

Buzzy, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2022.  Born December 8, 1945, in Washington D.C., he was the son of Joe & Helen (Hutchison) Brown.

He was an Army Veteran, Decorated Professional Firefighter and Sergeant in Montgomery County, Maryland, President of Lincoln Utilities and owner of Class Act Hair Creations Greencastle, PA.

He is survived and will be missed terribly by his devoted and beloved wife of 59 years, Nancy, his son, David Brown (wife Amy), daughter, Debbie Gordon (husband Gordy), “Favorite” Granddaughters, Alyssa Brown, Hunter Egolf (husband Blake) ,and Chelsea Brown.  His “beautiful” great-granddaughters,  Pyper, Bryer, and Sayler Egolf, adopted son, Travis Hollingshead,  brothers, Joe Brown, Wayne Brown, Tim Brown, and sister Helen Carlisle “Sissy”;  numerous nieces and nephews (You got this Geoff!!) and long -time appreciated employees and friends, Mildred, Cindy, Allison, and Dianne.

Not only is he reunited with his parents, he is now with a son, “Jess”, brother, Gary Brown and once again walking with brother, Roger Brown.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 9 - 10 AM at the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son  Funeral Home, Inc.,  45 South Carlisle Street, Greencastle PA . Funeral Services will follow at 10 AM with Pastor Alan Wilson officiating.  Graveside immediately following at Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle PA.
