David Stanley Campbell, age 72 of North Carlisle St. Greencastle, PA died at 7:55 AM Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in his home.
Born November 5, 1942 in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Maurice M. and Eileen M. (Adams) Campbell. He married Patricia E. “Trish” (DeCarlo) Campbell on September 2, 1978.
David retired after 30 years employment with IBM where he worked as a computer work station installer. He served in the US Air Force from 1960-65.
He was a member of the Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley in Hagerstown. He enjoyed golfing.
Surviving family in addition to his wife are two sons, Thomas S. Campbell and wife Tina of Monrovia, MD, Mark E. Campbell and wife Susan of New Market, MD, one daughter Kristen Gettys of Mechanicsburg, PA, his mother-in-law Rose Marie DeCarlo of Greencastle, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one brother John Campbell of Arcadia, FL.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley 12915 Pinehill Dr. Hagerstown, MD. with Pastor Randy Mosher officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery Greencastle. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the Calvary Chapel of the Cumberland Valley 12915 Pinehill Dr. Hagerstown, MD 21740.
