Claudia Wade

Claudia Ann Wade, age 58 of 9308 Dry Run Rd. Mercersburg, Pa. died at 9:45 A.M. Thursday December 10, 2009 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born January 13, 1951 in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Carlos A. and Bernice (Hunt) Eckerty.

In her earlier years she worked as a waitress and at the former Stanley Co. of Chambersburg. She last worked at Occupational Services Inc. (OSI) of Chambersburg.

She attended the Spirit Of Christ Community Church and also Antrim Brethren In Christ Church, both near Chambersburg. She enjoyed reading and working with yarn and beads.

Surviving family are one brother Carlos E. Eckerty, Greencastle, companion Robert L. Johns, Mercersburg and three nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 15 at 11:00 A.M. from the Antrim Brethren In Christ Church 24 East Kauffman Rd. Chambersburg with Pastor Ky Searcy officiating. There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Salvation Army 159 Lincoln Way East Chambersburg, Pa. 17201. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M.
