Clara I. (Carmack) Wagner

Clara I. Wagner, age 93, of Mercersburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at her home. Born in Mercersburg, PA on July 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late James Russell and Ida Robison Carmack.

Mrs. Wagner was a homemaker most of her working years. She was a former member of Christian Life Assembly of God Church. She cherished spending time with her family, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoyed word searches, bird watching, playing Yahtzee and watching Jimmy Swaggart on TV.

Surviving are six children, Miles E. Wagner of Chambersburg, PA, Teresa A. Stine of Mercersburg, PA, Larry O. Wagner, Jr. (Trudy McDonald) of Greencastle, PA, Kimberly K. Oaks of Marion, PA, Lesa L. Zeigler of Greencastle, PA, and Crystal S. Wagner of Greencastle, PA; five grandchildren, Jaime Rice (Ben), Jessica Myers (Steve), Steven Zeigler, Hope Cameron (Robbie), and Tommy Oaks (companion Wes); eight great grandchildren; two siblings, Mabel Wood and Harold Carmack; son in law, Mike Ganoe; former son in law, Tom Oaks; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry O. Wagner, Sr. in 1997; a daughter, Annette Ganoe in 2009, and nine siblings.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 11 AM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, PA, where Pastor W. David Kent will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.
