Charlotte L. Garling, age 67 of Greencastle, PA died at 5:35 A.M. on Monday, January 19, 2009 in the Falling Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
Born, December 17, 1941 in Antrim Twp., Franklin County, PA she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Marion L. (Martin) Garling.
Ms. Garling was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Greencastle, PA. She was a member of the State Line Ruritan Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing and reading.
She was a press operator at the former J. Schoneman Company of Chambersburg, PA and worked in the meat department at Sunnyway Foods of Greencastle, PA. She was a 1960 graduate of Greencastle High School.
Surviving family are her brother, Ken I. Garling of Greencastle, PA and two Aunts, Norma Yeager of St. Thomas, PA and Iva Burger of Chambersburg, PA.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA with Revs. Martin H. Horn and Donald M. Bohn officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, PA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
