Charles K. Timmons

Charles K. Timmons, age 79, of Hagerstown, MD died Saturday morning October 3, 2020 in the Michaux Manor Living Center in South Mountain, PA.

Born June 12, 1941 in Mercersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth Timmons and Lula (Boppe) Timmons Murphy. He married his wife Louise J.  (Roadarmel) Timmons on March 9, 1963. She died on February 16, 2007.

Charles was a retired truck driver having driven for Supreme Block Co., Craig Paving and last for Food Lion. He was a member of the Hub City Model A  Club of Hagerstown, Mercersburg Moose, Mercersburg American Legion and the Waynesboro VFW. Charles was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School.

Surviving family are two daughters, Pam Baer and husband John of Greencastle, Tina Spickler and husband Shane of Smithsburg, MD; girlfriend Delores Seal of Hagerstown and his puppy dog Angel. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson Jason Stine in 1996.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday October 8 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Gayle L. Ruble Sr. officiating. There will be a public viewing on Wednesday, October 7 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S.
