Charles F. Daley Sr

Charles F. Daley Sr., age 57 of 427 South Carlisle St. Greencastle, Pa. died unexpectedly Tuesday evening June 23, 2009 in his home.

Born May 27, 1952 in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of Ellis F. and Betty Jane (Robinson) Daley of Greencastle.

He had been employed at Serveu-Vending of Hagerstown. Charles was a 1970 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the AMVETS Post No. 0224 of Chambersburg. He enjoyed watching Baltimore Orioles baseball games.

Surviving family in addition to his parents are: one son, Charles F. Daley Jr., Fayetteville, Pa., daughter, Crystal Storm, Hanover, Pa., brothers, Garry L. Daley, Hagerstown, Ellis E. Daley, Greencastle, sister, Judy A.(Wife of Lauren) Mentzer, Greencastle, former wife Debra Daley, McConnellsburg, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday June 28 at 2:00 P.M. from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle with Rev. Daniel P. Barnes officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the Chambersburg V.F.W. Post #1599 Honor Guard will be in the Shank''s Church of The Brethren Cemetery near Greencastle.
