Candace K. Staubs

Candace K. Staubs, age 56 of Greencastle, PA, passed away peacefully into her new life in heaven at 1:02 P.M. on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at home surrounded by her family.

Born, December 2, 1954 in Bridgeton, NJ she was the daughter of the late Michael John Boscolo Sr. and Gladys Ann (Pozgar) Boscolo.

She and her husband, Dwight E. Staubs, were married March 1, 1975.

Mrs. Staubs was a member of the Burnside First Church of God in Sharpsburg, MD. She was an amazing woman who enjoyed participating in the Greencastle Relay for Life, golf, traveling to Charles Town, WV and the beach. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her four grandchildren and great granddaughter.

She worked as an in house insurance manager for Chambersburg Imaging. She was a graduate of the Bishop Guilfolye High School in Altoona, PA.

Surviving family in addition to her husband are, a son, Dwight E. Staubs Jr. and wife Cynthia of Canal Fulton, OH; two daughters, Tracy A. (Staubs) and husband Daniel McCluskey of DuBois, PA and Angie R. (Staubs) and husband Steven Dicker of Harrisburg, PA; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Jacob, Ashley and Dylan; a great granddaughter Ila; two brothers, Michael J. Boscolo Jr. and wife Sandy and Marty G. Boscolo and wife Dawn both of Greencastle; four nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from the Burnside First Church of God, 3904 Mills Rd., Sharpsburg, MD with Rev. Ernie Witmer officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 South Carlisle St., Greencastle and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
