Beulah M. Kell

Beulah M. Kell, age 90 of 1733 Buchanan Trail East Shady Grove, Pa. died at 1:10 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2009 in the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been critically ill for the past two weeks.

Born April 25, 1918 in Quincy Twp. Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Guy and Vertie (Hess) Fox.

She was a homemaker and did baby sitting in her home for many years. In her earlier years she worked at the former Stanley Co. of Chambersburg.

Mrs. Kell was a member of the Hades Church Of The Brethren near Waynesboro. She enjoyed being with her family, sewing and making comforters and doing puzzles.

She and her husband John A. Kell Jr. were maried July 9, 1938. He died on April 2, 1992.

Surviving family are two daughters, Doris J. Addlesberger and E. Faye Stouffer, both of Greencastle, one son, Timothy E. Kell, Shady Grove, Pa., one sister, Mary Jane Smith, Greencastle, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John R. Kell Sr. who died on November 4, 2006, a daughter Susan M. Gingell who died March 10, 2006, two sisters, Esther Stockslager, Edna Miller and a brother Guy Fox.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 4 at 10:00 A.M from the Hades Church Of The Brethren near Waynesboro with Ministers Dean Gearhart, George Martin and Donald Clapper officiating. Burial will be in the Browns Mill Cemetery Kauffman, Pa. The family will receive friends at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. and at the church one hour before the service on Wednesday. The family requests the omission of flowers with memorial contributions be given in her memory to the Hades Church Of The Brethren C/O Treasurer Philip Long 4387 Coseytown Rd. Greencastle, Pa. 17225.
