Aimee Michelle Monn

On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Aimee Michelle Monn of Greencastle, PA went back to her Heavenly home.  We had her for 34 wonderful years on this earth.

Michelle was born October 21, 1982 in Richmond Virginia; where she spent most of her childhood.  She graduated from Cherokee High School and went on to complete her BS in Education at Southern Virginia University.  She fell in love with an amazing man; has three exciting and wonderful children and has resided in Greencastle with her lovely family ever since.

She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chambersburg, PA; and she lived her religion every day of her life with true faith and passion.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.  She has inspired so many with her example of compassion and caring for others. There aren’t many who have known Michelle that were not touched by her kindness and love. She had a talent for music and had the voice of an angel.

We will all miss your brilliant smile, wonderful laugh and giggle, and strong hugs.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Abram Monn, three children, Cash, Heidi and Ace; her parents Walt and Joann Vann, sisters, Beth Thompson and Kate Vann, maternal grandparents, Patricia Freeburn and Joe Owens, paternal grandparents, Patricia Sue Vann and William Camp Vann Sr. She will be missed like a bright star in the sky.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 50 Ragged Edge Rd. Chambersburg. Burial will be in the Quincy Cemetery, Quincy, PA. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle and at the church one hour before the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may given to the Church of Jesus Christ of Letter-day Saints, 50 Ragged Edge Rd. Chambersburg, PA 17202, the Ronald McDonald House 745 W. Governor Rd.
