Adam C. Martin, age 95 a resident of Menno Haven Chambersburg, Pa. and formerly of 571 Redwood Dr. State Line, Pa. died at 5:15 P.M. Tuesday November 20, 2007 in the nursing home.

Born October 23, 1912 in Washington County Maryland, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Mary (Carpenter) Martin.

He had worked in feed sales at the former D.A. Stickell & Sons of Hagerstown and also at the former Maugansville Elevator having retired in 1982.

Mr. Martin was the oldest member of the Cedar Grove Mennonite Church near Greencastle and had been involved with the Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS).

He and his wife, Martha E. (Meyers) Martin were married June 22, 1935. She died on November 18, 1997.

Surviving family are:
One daughter, Barbara A. (Wife of Larry) Miller of Greencastle, Pa., two sons, Richard J. (Husband of Wilma) Martin of Greencastle, Pa. and Donald E. (Husband of Ann) Martin, Newark, Delaware

Two brothers, Ralph C. Martin of Waynesboro, Va., and Mark C. Martin of Manheim, Pa.

One sister, Anna C. Mellinger, resident of the Mennonite Fellowship Home, Hagerstown, Md.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Monday November 26 at 11:00 A.M. from the Cedar Grove Mennonite Church 13343 Williamsport Pike Greencastle, Pa. with Pastor Stephen Fretz officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 - 8 P.M. at the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle and at the church one hour before the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the building fund of Cedar Grove Mennonite Church 13343 Williamsport Pike Greencastle, Pa. 17225
