Lloyd E. Goetz

Lloyd E. Goetz, 92, a resident of the Williamsport Retirement Village of Williamsport, MD and formerly of Greencastle, PA passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024.  Born April 27, 1931 in Greencastle he was the son of the late Linford Goetz, Sr. and Edna (Mills) Goetz. 

He was employed as a supervisor for Beck Manufacturing, Greencastle for a number of years.  He later went to work for Jerr-Dan Corporation as a supervisor.  Lloyd attended Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Martinsburg, WV.  He was a member of the Izaak Walton League, Berkeley County Chapter.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two daughters, Beverly Crawford of Bunker Hill, WV and Nancy Moser of Greencastle; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three siblings, Alvin Goetz of Mercersburg, PA, Joanne Pine of Reading, PA, and Mary “Bonnie” Straley; and a number of nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Doris M. (Lam) Goetz who passed away December 18, 2016 and two brothers, Richard Goetz and Linford Goetz, Jr.

Services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 1:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle, Pennsylvania with Rev. Charles W. Donivan officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday afternoon in the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church 36 Laing Dr. Martinsburg, WV 25404.
